Hello all, The first 2017 meeting of the Manitoba Branch of the UELAC will be held on Saturday, March 25th at 10:30 at The Gates on Roblin Blvd. Lunch will cost $22.00. The presentation will be given by Mavis McLaren on the topic “Black History in Canada” and Jacqueline Sumpter speaking on her Black Loyalist Ancestry.
If you have dietary restrictions, The Gates will accommodate you. They can provide gluten-free, vegan, or other special needs.
Please remember to wear your name tags. If you ordered one and did not pick it up at the New Year’s Levee it will be available at the meeting. The cost is $10.00. Please have correct change, as I am close to non-numerate.
