A luncheon was held at the St. Charles Country Club in honour of the 85th Anniversary of the Manitoba Branch UELAC. 20 members attended and thoroughly enjoyed fellowship and a wonderful meal.

Rev. Robert Campbell asked the blessing and Margaret Carter, as the oldest member present and the daughter of one of the founding members, gave a brief speech about the branch which began in 1932 as the Winnipeg Branch. In 1997 it was rechartered as the Manitoba Branch.

A toast to the Queen rounded out the festivities.
