A lovely social time and lunch was enjoyed by the group. A White Elephant sale was held in conjunction with the luncheon as an attempt to raise funds for our branch. Each member was to scour their attic/basement for elephants and they did just that.
There was no lack of socialization at the gathering and the silent auction for the White Elephant Sale added another dimension to the interactions between members... although I must say everyone was very polite and very few bidding wars broke out.
