Once again, Manitoba Branch UELAC was invited by The Honourable Janice C. Filmon, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba and The Honourable Gary A. Filmon to attend the New Year Day Levee at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
As you can see, we had a wonderful turnout and as you can see we were wonderfully turned out. We were individually introduced to Their Honours and then mingled with the guests and enjoyed the entertainment and the refreshments.
Our banner in the rotunda attracted a great deal of interest and many of us were asked to pose with families for pictures.
The entertainment was provided by the Winnipeg Police Service Choir, the Winnipeg Boys Choir and Ring Out, a handbell quartet. Scouts and Guides helped to serve refreshments.
